Prices of kite courses in Sicily

What prices are offered by Polish and foreign schools in Sicily? How much should you expect to pay?

The standard price for kitesurfing lessons at Lo Stagnone is €60 per hour of individual class (one instructor one student) or €50 per hour of pair class (two students one instructor).

For this price you get instructor support, gear for the class and often a radio activity. Some schools also offer free transfers from Trapani airport for their students.

Often, if you take a bundle of classes, or buy the whole course, prices can drop to around €45 per hour of individual lesson or €40 per hour of paired lesson.

These prices apply to both Polish and foreign schools. All schools in Lo Stagnone offer basically the same price range and on principle don’t undercut it.

Gear rental prices

The same as for courses, all schools and bases have the same rental price range. You’ll mostly get Duotone, Core, Fone or North gear.

Full gear rental for a week – €350
Board for one week – €70

Kite with a bar for one day – €40

Spot fees

If you want access to showers, toilets and the bar, you must pay a fee to use the spot. The fee must be paid by each person who will use the spot. You can choose from around 10 bases along the lagoon.

One day – €5 – €7
Week €25 – €30

You can also use the so-called free spot, which is located about halfway down the lagoon. There will be no toilets or bar, however, and you’ll have to put your kite on small pebbles due to the lack of mats or grass.
