Zingro Sycylia Rezerwat Naturalny

Zingaro Reserve – access, what to take, weather

Access to the Zingaro reserve from Trapani and San Vito Lo Capo

You have several options:
1. car rental – around 35€ – 45€ / day
2. scooter rental – 23€ – 30€ / day
3. Line bus Azienda Siciliana Trasporti Trapani – Zingaro 5€ / one way
4. Line bus Azienda Siciliana Trasporti Trapani – San Vito Lo Capo and e-bike rental in San Vito Lo Capo through Moonway. A very interesting option, the road from San Vito Lo Capo to Zingaro is a picturesque route and riding it on an electric car is a great adventure. However, I do not recommend going there from San Vito on an analog bike – there are long climbs along the way and it is hot in Sicily in the summer.
5. Organised trip with kitedays.pl combined with cliff jumping at our secret spot and snorkeling equipment provided! Contact us at +48666832222 and we will complete the details.

What to bring to Zingaro?

1. Full shoes or sandals – the reserve’s security will not allow you to enter it in flip-flops.
2. Water supply, sandwiches. At the entrance to Zingaro from San Vito Lo Capo there is quite a foodtruck with Italian snacks and drinks, but it is worth taking a supply of water with you.
3. Snorkeling masks – Zingaro has a large number of colorful fish underwater! It’s worth seeing!

Temperatures in Zingaro

In summer (June to mid-September), be prepared to walk in high temperatures and full sun. I definitely do not recommend this attraction to the elderly because it can be dangerous to their health. However, children or people with mobility can handle it without any problems. The heat during the hike will be rewarded with a swim in cool water on the beautifully situated beaches – it’s worth it!
